Marion County Special Education Cooperative’s educational program for students with hearing disabilities is provided through a consultant for the hearing impaired and services from the Kansas school for the deaf. Paraeducators with signing skills are employed to assist in transmitting information and interactions of the classroom. One of MCSEC's interpreters has completed the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment. Equipment such as phonic ears are provided as is appropriate.
