Services are available in the Cooperative for students who, because of certain emotional or behavior problems, have difficulty adjusting academically within the regular classroom. Depending on the severity of the problems, support may be received through consultation, interrelated resource rooms (part-time), or self-contained classrooms. Placement may be for part of the day, or full time if the student’s needs require such placement. An off campus self-contained program is available  through the OASIS classrooms in Florence. Teachers and support staff work to help these students to deal with their emotional difficulties and learn appropriate behaviors so that they may successfully return to the regular education environment.
