Marion County Special Education Cooperative offers speech-language services for all children, birth through high school, with communication disorders. Services include assessment and intervention in the most appropriate and least restrictive environment, whether that be the home, community preschool, or a school setting. Types of communication difficulties include: articulation, phonology, language, fluency, and voice. Children who receive speech-language services may have other impairments such as a learning disability, severe multiple handicaps, a hearing impairment, a behavior disorder or an autistic disorder.
